FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE LEVEL OF AFFORDABILITY THAT YOU CHOSE?
North Shore Comunity Development Coalition (North Shore CDC) owns and operates 351 affordable apartments in Salem and Beverly. We are in the process of developing 257 additional apartments in Salem, Gloucester and Merrimac.
To date, everything that we own is affordable, housing families at 60% of AMI or below, with many apartments targeting much lower income tiers. With the Schools redevelopment, we have maximized the levels of affordability given the public resources likely to be available.
